Performance Video Specialist (Motion & AI)
About The Position
We are looking for a versatile Performance Video Specialist (Motion & AI) to join our creative team at Tailor Brands. This is a dual-impact role: you will be a key driver in our daily video production engine – editing and polishing content produced by the team – while also having the creative space to ideate and lead your own original performance concepts from scratch.
You’ll work at the intersection of high-end motion graphics, traditional video editing, and cutting-edge Generative AI, turning abstract performance goals into thumb-stopping reality. We’re looking for a “maker” who is happy to get their hands dirty in the timeline but has the strategic mind to know what makes an ad actually convert.
What You’ll Do
- Core Production: Take the lead on editing and post-production for videos produced by the team, including UGC-style ads, brand content, and social media assets.
- Creative Ownership: Beyond executing existing briefs, you will research, ideate, and develop your own creative “hooks” and concepts for creatives on Meta, TikTok, and Google.
- AI Integration: Use Generative AI tools to enhance production value, generate assets, and experiment with new visual styles that set our campaigns apart.
- Data-Driven Iteration: Collaborate with campaign managers to analyze ad performance and quickly produce “V2” edits based on what’s working in the field.
- Collaborative Execution: Work alongside the creative team to ensure every video—whether it’s yours or the team’s—meets our standards
Requirements
Who You Are
- The Practical Expert: You have 3-5 years of experience in video editing and motion design, preferably in a fast-paced performance marketing environment.
- A “Swiss Army Editor”: You are just as comfortable cleaning up a quick UGC edit as you are building a complex motion piece or generating an AI-based environment.
- Tool-Agnostic: You are a pro in Premiere Pro and After Effects, but you’re also an early adopter of AI video tools and workflows.
- Conceptually Minded: You don’t just wait for a storyboard; you understand the “why” behind an ad and can suggest better ways to tell the story.
- Production-Savvy: You know your way around a camera and a set. You understand how to direct a scene to get the specific shots you’ll need later in the edit.
- Team Player: You enjoy the collaborative process of a creative studio and are happy to contribute your skills to the team’s larger goals.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio that shows a mix of clean editing, high-end motion graphics, and creative storytelling.
- Outstanding proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Hands-on, demonstrated experience with Generative AI tools in a production workflow.
- Experience creating ads for social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
If this sounds like you, send us your portfolio asap.
