Shai Shmarel is a Product Marketing Manager at Tailor Brands, the online platform that helps entrepreneurs start, run, and grow a business. He joined Tailor Brands in 2019 and has also served as its Marketing Project Manager since 2025.

For more than five years, Shai led SEO and content at Tailor Brands. He started as SEO & Content Lead and then served as SEO Team Lead from 2023 to 2025. In those roles he built the research-driven approach behind the company’s business, compliance, and marketing guides.

Before moving into marketing, Shai earned an LLB from Tel Aviv University in 2018. During his studies he interned at the law firm Gornitzky & Co., working on capital markets, corporate governance and regulation, and mergers and acquisitions. He also volunteered with the university’s Environmental Justice Clinic, providing legal services to refugees in South Tel Aviv, and worked as a research analyst at the OMEK Center on policy and legislative development.

When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him with a cup of coffee and a book in the desert.
